Heyzap To Distribute Bigpoint's Browser-Based MMOs

One of the companies we particularly admire here at SocialTimes, Heyzap, has been quite active in the social gaming space with announcements ranging from launching a social gaming browser with Fizzik and Spry Hive to raising a round of $3M in funding from Union Square Venture Funds in June, 2010. Heyzap continues to form partnerships with companies with their latest one with Bigpoint – developer of browser-based online games. Read more after the jump.

Bigpoint’s titles like Farmerama will join Heyzap’s distribution network that spans thousands of targeted sites. Farmerama is one of the bigger Bigpoint hits with a vast community of players engaging with the game on the web. Bigpoint’s 2 other games, DarkOrbit and Seafight, have over 70 million registered users combined, bringing Bigpoint’s total to 130 million users. Bigpoint’s games have availability in over 25 languages, reaching players across America and Europe. They are hoping to add to their partnerships with the addition of Heyzap which could yield strong results.
