Hi ThinkMobile readers - all the great mobile apps, devices and reviews are now a part of mediabistro's SocialTimes.com. Thanks for reading!

Mobile billing firm mBlox has released the results of a study they have conducted that pinpoints the reason why mobile, over-the-air music purchases have had trouble taking off. It seems that hidden fees associated with downloading content is making consumers wary of purchasing through their mobile device. In some cases, consumers paid a total of ten pounds in the UK to download a single track, above the actual price of the song, due to data download rates.

mBlox was overall positive on the future of mobile content, but felt that these trust issues needed to be resolved to instill confidence in the consumer. mBlox feels that the price the consumer sees should be the price they pay.
