WATCH: Hillary Clinton’s ‘Townterview’ Streaming Live On YouTube, 9:30AM ET

Last week Vice President Joe Biden addressed gun control in a Google Hangout with Phil DeFranco and Guy Kawasaki.  This morning, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is addressing the public via YouTube in a live stream from the Newseum in Washington, DC.

Clinton’s “Global Townterview” is streaming live on YouTube as well as on www.state.gov at 9:30 am ET this morning.

According to the State.gov blog, “A ‘Townterview’ is a mix of a town hall and a television interview.  The concept was first introduced by the Secretary when she entered office as a way to broaden people-to-people engagement.”  This will be Clinton’s 59th town hall.

During the Townterview, which is the result of partnerships with media outlets in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America, Secretary clinton will be taking questions from social media outlets and Skype.  Questions can be submitted on Facebook or on Twitter using the hashtag #AskState.

The Townterview is being moderated by Australian newscaster Leigh Sales of Australian Broadcasting Company.
