Hitwise: A&E Network’s Kirstie Alley’s Big Life Makes Big Moves

According to Hitwise, ABC and CBS continued to flip-flop in the top two spots for broadcast-network Web sites, with ABC claiming the top spot for the week ending March 27.

Fox’s American Idol remained the top broadcast-network-show Website yet again, with ABC’s Dancing with the Stars waltzing its way into second place and CBS’ Survivor at No. 3.

Comedy Central’s South Park continued its run atop the list of cable networks (adults only), with Discovery Channel’s Life surging into second place and A&E Network’s Kirstie Alley’s Big Life claiming the third spot.

When combining broadcast and cable networks, South Park remained in the No. 1 position, with Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants overtaking Idol for second place, and Idol settling into third.

Fast risers on the broadcast list were two series from ABC: V (to No. 11 from No. 23), and Castle (19 from 29).

Cable’s fast risers were Kirstie Alley’s Big Life (3 from 32), and MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews (21 from 31).

Fast risers among the top 25 Websites were Dancing with the Stars (4 from 16), and Kirstie Alley’s Big Life (7 from 70).
