According to Hitwise, the top three broadcast-network sites were unchanged; CBS, NBC and ABC.
CBS’ Big Brother remained atop the list of most-visited broadcast-show Websites yet again, with Fox’s American Idol reclaiming the No. 2 spot and Fox’s America’s Most Wanted coming in at No. 3.
As for cable shows (adults only), the top two were unchanged again: Comedy Central’s South Park and Home & Garden Television’s Design Star. Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart claimed the No. 3 position.
When combining broadcast and cable networks, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Big Brother continued grappling for the top spot, with SpongeBob prevailing this time and dropping Big Brother to No. 2. South Park came in third again.
Fast risers on the broadcast list were ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (to No. 6 from No. 17), NBC’s The Biggest Loser (9 from 26), ABC’s Wipeout (11 from 24), Fox’s Bones (15 from 25), ABC’s Shark Tank (16 from 55), CBS’ CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (19 from 30), The CW’s America’s Next Top Model (20 from 41), CW’s Gossip Girl (21 from 33) and CBS’ 48 Hours Mystery (24 from 43).
Cable’s fast risers were Nick at Nite’s Glenn Martin DDS (9 from 87), MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews (10 from 42), AMC’s Mad Men (16 from 30), A&E Network’s Criss Angel Mindfreak (21 from 108) and MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew (25 from 59).
Fast risers among the top 25 Websites were Glenn Martin DDS (14 from 152) and Hardball (17 from 74).
