Hitwise: Few Broadcast Movers, Many Cable Shakers

According to Hitwise, ABC topped the list of broadcast-network Websites for the week ending Nov. 7, with CBS occupying the No. 2 slot.

ABC’s Dancing with the Stars was the most-visited broadcast-show Website, followed by CBS’ Survivor at No. 2 and Fox’s America’s Most Wanted at No. 3.

As for cable shows (adults only), Comedy Central’s South Park grabbed the top spot, followed by No. 2 Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta and No. 3 Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs.

When combining broadcast and cable networks, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants was No. 1, with South Park coming in second and Dancing with the Stars third.

There were no fast risers on the broadcast list.

Cable’s fast risers were MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews (to No. 6 from No. 43), VH1′s For the Love of Ray J (8 from 34), TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8 (9 from 19), Travel’s Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre World (10 from 65), Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County (13 from 47) and Food Network’s The Iron Chef (20 from 44).

Fast risers among the top 25 Websites were Hardball (15 from 93), For the Love of Ray J (19 from 72), Jon and Kate (21 from 42) and Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre World (23 from 129).
