Hothand Wireless Expands Mobile College Network

Hothand Wireless, the mobile portal for college campuses, announced that it expanded its network to include Alabama, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Oregon State, Portland State, Stanford, UCLA, USC and Washington State.

The portal lets students access a mobile Web site and sign up for text messages for recreation and intramural information, including sports scores, standings, schedules, facility availability, polls, and mobile contests. Both students and staff members can register for the site.

In addition, students, faculty and alumni can all access Hothand Wireless’ “Hot Deals” section, which hawks special offers from different merchants.
