Infographic Explores How Social Sites Make Money

We all use social media services on a daily basis, but do you ever wonder how these sites manage to turn a profit?  A new infographic from USBundles.com takes a look at which revenue streams are making major social network sites money, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Reddit, LinkedIn, Meetup, Tumblr, and more.

Social sites are using a variety of methods to make money, from ads to premium web apps, paying customers, mobile apps, and affiliates and the infographic shows that many social sites make money from a variety of sources.  Vimeo, Flickr, LinkedIn, and Photobucket, for instance, make money from a combination of ads and paying customers.  The infographic shows that ad revenue is the biggest revenue source for social sites, clocking in at 77 percent.
