How To Download And Convert YouTube Videos For iTunes/iPod

The easiest way to download videos from YouTube I think is to use one of available free software products out there. I have discovered Ares Tube – free software which is pretty simple and works well. With help of Ares Tube you can download videos not only from YouTube, but also from Metacafe, Google Video, Blip TV, Daily Motion and MySpace. Another great feature is video converter who lets you to convert downloaded video file directly into iTunes and next time, when you plug in your iPod, video will be automatically transfered to it.

Another great feature of this soft is built-in browser that allows you to easy browse and search for the videos and download stuff you like. Unfortunately Area Tube is available only for Windows users but for Mac OS X users I can suggest TubeSock soft (it also have Windows version) which basically have all the same features – downloading videos from youtube and convert them to iPod supperted format.
