How to Include Fans in Your Online Strategy [Podcast]

On today’s social media edition of the Morning Media Menu, GalleyCat editor Jason Boog discussed the good things that can happen when companies give up a little control to their customers, especially where social media is involved.

I called in live from Expion‘s social business summit, Racing Ahead 2012, where Coca-Cola senior channel marketing manager Laura Ruff had just given some great tips on how to use fan-generated content in your marketing strategy.

We also talked about the list of words that were recently added to the Collins Dictionary with the help of online readers.

Jason also shared the big news that three major publishers are dropping the agency model of pricing books, giving up fixed prices and opening the doors for better deals. We reminisced about the most expensive eBooks we’ve ever purchased.
