HTC Leo — review, photos, screenshots

From my point of view, it is just another iPhone keyboard-less clone. This Windows Mobile 6.5 phone has two distinctive features. You can see and notice the first right away: It’s large screen. YOu can see it side-by-side above next to a photo of my HTC Touch Pro2 (which has a slide-out physical keyboard). Although the two photos are NOT to scale, you can see that the Leo’s display use much more of the phone’s surface. The second distinctive feature may or may not exist: A capcitive screen (like the iPhone’s) that permits multi-touch. ai.rs says the Leo has such a screen. But, this remains to be proven after pre-release models or production models are tested. And, how will Windows Mobile 6.5 support multi-touch? I don’t have the faintest idea.

As with other keyboard-less smartphones, my general feeling about the Leo is “meh”…
