The International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF), the nonprofit behind the ePub eBook standard, has started a process of revising the ePub standard. Publishers Weekly reports that IDPF has started a two-week comment period, during which IDPF members can check out the proposed changes to the standard and contact the organization with questions or comments.
Here’s more from PW: “In a note to members, IDPF president George Kerscher explained that during a minor revision of ePub the ePub maintenance group discovered the need for more significant enhancements.”
