Israeli mobile content company InfoGin raised more than $10 million in a third round of funding from Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Coral Capital Management, MocoNews reports.

“The eight-year old company provides carriers with server technology that automatically adapts Web pages to a number of mobile handsets. It also provides tools to content providers to create mobile-optimized sites.”

The report said that the company also recently signed an agreement with Microsoft, in which the Redmond-based company will use InfoGin’s Intelligent Mobile Platform (IMP) to adapt any Web Site reached via Microsoft’s Live Search Mobile service to fit properly on a cell phone. (A lot of mobile search engines can find relevant links to queries, but when you click on them on the phone, the handset will bog down trying to render a tremendous desktop site.)
