Internet Celebrates Pi Day with Lots of Pie, Not a Lot of Math

Every March 14, the world gets together to celebrate the longest number we can think of (but are too lazy to spell out from memory).

In case you were sleeping in class that day, Pi is the Greek letter of the alphabet that, in this case, represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, a never-ending number that’s commonly shortened to 3.14. (Like 3/14, get it? If you do, you’re smart and we like that.)

To celebrate, the greatest minds of social media are lining the pie tin of the internet with memes for the rest of us to devour and share. Most of them, we have found, are pictures of actual pie.
