Along with any new technology comes new diseases and afflictions. This is true even for the iPad.

The video embedded after the break shows the tragic case of a marketing exec by the name of Miranda. This poor soul is so dependent on her iPad that she has forgotten how to interface with the rest of the world.

Of course, the not so funny art is that there actually is a condition called iPaditis; Urban Dictionary defines it as a “sensation of numbness or pain in the dorsal (top) side of your upper arm due to exertion of tendons while holding up one’s iPad to work. This is similar to carpal tunnel, but on the other side of one’s arm.”

Ouch.
