Hi ThinkMobile readers - all the great mobile apps, devices and reviews are now a part of mediabistro's SocialTimes.com. Thanks for reading!

OK, I (cough cough) found the 640×480 video resolution setting for the HTC Touch Pro2. Question for HTC: With all the screen real estate on the Touch Pro2, why hide options on a hard to find second page/window? Place all options in a single window. There’s lots of space there on an 800 pixel wide screen.

And, (cough cough again) this time I remembered to turn the iPhone 3GS sidewards to record video in a landscape orientation.

You can see two short video recordings from each device recorded while standing at the same spot less than a minute apart in time (same lighting, etc.) in the embedded video above.

I’ve looked at both videos a bunch of times on three different LCD displays (Apple, Dell, AOC). The iPhone 3GS video looks better to me in terms of contrast adjustment under different lighting, sharpness, and perceived frame rate. However, I continue to be impressed by the Touch Pro2′s sound recording quality.
