From something as simple as holding the door open for a stranger to feeding someone’s empty meter so they won’t get a parking ticket, writing a thank you note or waiting to answer a phone call until the end of a conversation, Boom Boom! Revolution hopes to encourage a little more goodness.  They’ve just introduced a new app for iPhone and iPod touch that invites users to share the acts of kindness that they experience in everyday life.

The Boom Boom! App encourages people to “witness, document and celebrate the good in our everyday,” snapping a picture, telling the story of the good deed and uploading it to the Everyday Boom Boom! Stream—a stream documenting the goodness that people witness or perform in their everyday lives.

The Boom Boom! App is from the creators of Boom Boom! Cards, “kindness kits” that consist of cards with ideas for random acts of kindness listed on them.  Think of it as a game where the objective is to do good deeds.

The App shows you two streams of good deeds—those that come from other users of the app and those that come from the Boom Boom! Cards website.  Find out more and download the app here and let us know what you think.  Have you witnessed or performed a good deed today?
