iPhone Apps Hall of Fame Inducts its First 12 Apps

Apple’s iPhone App Store has more than 250,000 apps and is over two years old. Isn’t it about time for an App Hall of Fame? That’s what 148apps.com founder Jeff Scott believed. So, he created the App Hall of Fame.

Introducing the App Hall of Fame!

Eligible apps for the App Hall of Fame need run on the iPhone and have been in the App Store for at least 6 months. 12 apps will be voted in every month. And, I’m happy to say that I’m on the Hall of Fame Committee.

You can see the first 12 apps named in the first round of voting are definitely worthy ones.

- Doodle Jump
- Evernote
- Fieldrunners
- Flight Control
- Homerun Battle 3D
- Instapaper
- Pandora Radio
- Plants vs. Zombies
- Shazam
- Simplenote
- Twitter
