iRiver Introduces Cover Story eReader

iRiver introduced a new eReader today at CES called the Cover Story. The eReader is the second generation of the iRiver Story and has an upgraded interface.

Like the Story, the Cover Story has a 6-inch display, but instead of a keyboard, the new device has a touchscreen. The design makes the new device lighter and have a sleeker apperance. While the Cover Story has a touchscreen, the screen remains black-and-white with an 8-grayscale eInk display.

The device is also Wi-Fi enabled, so users can shop for eBooks directly from the device, and it can be used to send e-mails.
