The National Football League’s Seattle Seahawks didn’t release any official information on the severity of the injury suffered by quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in Sunday’s game, but fans who follow the QB on Twitter were in the know.

Hasselbeck posted a picture of himself from the hospital and tweeted: “Going to be alright. Thx to staff at Stanford and Dr. McAdam for snapping this photo.”

Incidentally, a league source told ESPN.com Monday morning that Hasselbeck suffered a fractured rib, and his status for next week’s game is unknown.
