Engadget Mobile reports that NTT DoCoMo has started selling the Panasonic P950iTV mobile phone in Japan. What makes this new handset significant is that it’s the first phone from Panasonic under its Viera brand, which is better known for high-resolution TV sets.
Not surprisingly, the P950iTV is a TV-centric phone with such whiz-bang features as a 3.5-inch, 854 x 480 display that promises high-quality television viewing, according to Gizmodo. It also boasts 30 fps video playback, TV and audio out ports and a whole host of other media features.
