Jerk Around with Myspace

Are you into “Jerkin?” Relax, WebNewser is still a family-friendly blog: Jerkin is a new dance craze being spread via social media, and Myspace is looking for the best Jerk talent.

The social network teamed up with Electus, the digital studio led by former NBC Entertainment co-chairman Ben Silverman, on Jerk All-Stars Sponsored by Sprite. The 14-episode original series debuts Tuesday, Nov. 30, and dance crews can submit videos for the change to appear on the competition show.

For those who aren’t part of dance crews, the “Be A Jerk” app allows users to create videos of themselves jerk-dancing using their photos.
