John A. Farrell Joins Center for Public Integrity as Senior Reporter, Money and Politics

Money and politics go hand-in-hand, and John A. Farrell will cover both topics in his new role as senior reporter for The Center for Public Integrity.

Farrell is the author of Clarence Darrow: Attorney for the Damned, which will be published by Doubleday in June, and he has worked for The Denver Post and The Boston Globe covering politics in Washington, D.C., and the White House.

CPI executive director William E. Buzenberg said:

Jack is a seasoned political journalist who has written extensively about the inner workings of politics and power in Washington. He is a sterling addition to our money and politics reporting team.

Farrell added:

I am cheered and honored to join the center’s formidable staff, whose work I have followed and admired for many years. The work of the center is especially vital now, as newspapers and other journalistic outlets are under great financial pressure, and many have curtailed their watchdog roles.
