Following up on her Election 2008 Webcast series CBS News’ Katie Couric will anchor a one-hour Webcast on Inauguration night. The Webcast starts at 10pmET, immediately following the CBS News prime time special at 9pmET which Couric anchors from one of the Inauguration balls (wonder if she’ll be wearing a ball gown?)

Said Couric in a press release, “The Webcasts offer an incredible way for me and the entire CBS News Political Team to engage with our viewers in a way that isn’t possible on television.” That includes Couric humming along to election Webcast sponsor Intel’s jingle.

Tuesday’s Webcast is sponsored by Audi, so we’ll see which sound effect Couric comes up with for that.

Interestingly, Audi is also sponsoring ABC News Now’s Inauguration day.
