Kickstarter Project “Juke” Turns Your Phone into a Karaoke

PSY Corporation Ltd. hopes to raise £85,000 on Kickstarter for Juke, an app that will turn your smartphone into a portable karaoke machine. The Juke system would allow you to turn your phone into a portable singing device by plugging a microphone into your phone, then connecting to your speakers over bluetooth, and installing an app.

Here is more about the project:

A singing device is like a basic karaoke machine that consists of a music player, microphone inputs, and an audio output. The music player is generally a PC with entire libraries stored on the hard drive and the songs and lyrics are played directly from it. Songs must be purchased in special shops on-line, downloaded and installed on the PC.

By connecting to the Internet, you can access songs and synchronize playlists with your friends. You can even add sound effect like cheering to your karaoke experience. Follow this link to check out a video demo of the system.
