Back in March, when it was still called ROO Group, digital video distributor KIT Digital said it had signed a letter of intent to buy Kamera, a Swedish IPTV content distributor.
This week, KIT finally made the acquisition for $4.2 million in cash plus up to an additional $6 million in stock if performance thresholds are met.
According to Digital Media Wire, Kamera packages and distributes mobile and online Internet TV content from the likes of the AP and Disney-ABC to more than 70 online customers and 40 wireless operators around the world.
