LinkedIn for Android: Free, Fast, Functional & (mostly) Stable

LinkedIn, the Facebook for business people, released a free app for Android phones

LinkedIn for Android: Ready for Business

The app’s main screen provides easy access to six main features:

- Updates: What your contacts are sharing
- Connections: Who you are connected to
- Invitations Invitations from other LinkedIn members to join their network
- Search
- Reconnect: List of LinkedIn members you may know based on your current connections
- Messages

You can also tap on your name at the bottom of the display to see your own provide. And, finally, you can update your status on LinkedIn in a way it will also be tweeted on your Twitter account. Although I managed to crash the app once, it was otherwise stable during my tests. I was very impressed by how fast and responsive it was on my Nexus One. I’m not a heavy LinkedIn user myself. But, if I were, I would not hesitate to use this official LinkedIn for Android app on a daily basis.
