LinkedIn Groups Get More Useful

Business-oriented social networking site LinkedIn is introducing several enhancements to its site in the coming months. Among these new features an enhancements are Group Discussions, Group Home Page, enhanced roster, and digest emails.

The new features of LinkedIn Groups are:

• Group Home Pge

• Simple discussion spaces for you and your members.

• Digest emails are daily or weekly digests of new discussion topics, which your may choose to receive. LinkedIn plans to turn on its digest email feature for all current group members

• Enhanced Roster displays searchable list of group members

In addition, for Group Managers, LinkedIn has also made it easier for them to manage their LinkedIn Groups while also enhancing its user management feature. Users can easily choose how often they’d like to receive their email digest.

These are just simple management features for LinkedIn Groups. As community groups are the basis of collaboration, networking and sharing online, it is but expected for a site as big as LinkedIn to enhance these services.

Hopefully, LinkedIn would introduce more new features for its site. And we will keep you posted on that.
