Forum and community-moderation services provider LiveWorld is taking aim at Facebook, launching three applications with the goal of allowing brands to manage their communications on the social-networking site, Inside Facebook reported.
LiveWorld’s forums app allows users to create and comment on discussion threads and also enables brands to add polls and customize the HTML, according to Inside Facebook.
Its “Idea Power” app lets companies share or solicit ideas from users when they want to do market testing for a new products letting users upload, vote on and tag text, photos, audio and videos.
And the company’s third application lets brands create a question-and-answer format for users so they see if their own questions have already been answered and decide if they want to ask their own, Inside Facebook reported.
LiveWorld told Inside Facebook it will also expand its existing staffing-support and consulting services to Facebook.
