Remember that cool location-based social networking site we featured earlier this year called – Brightkite? Well, at lot of things has happened with the site, and the latest of which being its integration with, well Facebook Connect. It’s certainly nothing biggie, since everybody seems to be jumping on either the Facebook Connect bandwagon or the Google Friends Connect. facebook-connect-brightkite-1-640x495But wait, the Facebook Connect Integration may after all have some significance, especially given the fact that Brightkite has certain uniqueness on its own. With Facebook Connect integrated on your Brightkite account, you can now easily share your Brightkite streams to your Facebook friends. You can now update your Facebook status, publish your location, notes and photos directly to your Brightkite news feed.

And since we all know that Brightkite has a very neat iPhone application, so you can practically update your Brightkite news stream and Facebook status right simultaneously from your iPhone – which goes without saying that you can do it anywhere you are.

To integrate your Brightkite account with Facebook, you must go to your Brightkite Account Settings and click on the sharing tab -> authorize Facebook by clicking the link next to all 3 steps -> choose your Facebook cross-posting option and save.

And that’s it. You can start updating your Facebook status by updating it from your Brightkite account.
