If you’re a Facebook and Gmail user (who doesn’t anyway?), you’d be glad to know that Facebook now supports myOpenID. This means that you can now use your Gmail credentials to login to Facebook. To put in in a simpler way, this simply means that everytime you are logged in to your Gmail account, the moment you visit Facebook, you will be automatically logged in. Meaning, you don’t need to type in your username and password anymore.

This in effect saves you some time and provides quick access to your Facebook profile page.

To enable this feature you need to link your Facebook to your Gmail account first. Just go to your Facebook account settings, select Gmail in the Linked Accounts section, and that’s it.

Log in to your Gmail account then go to http://facebook.com. Notice that you will be directed to your Facebook profile without being asked to login first.

This feature is currently in testing mode, so expect more enhancements sometime soon.
