sneakygameslogoTired of planting Okra? Try Fantasy Kingdom, by Sneaky Games. It takes a spin on the farming genre with a brand new medieval and wizardly theme complete with mana and other fantasy elements. Although visually appealing with tons of mythical decor and customization, the game play is limited at best and we hope to see interesting social elements come into play over time.

Harry Potter fans can now rejoice as they engage in collecting ‘mana’ and plant magical flowers (amongst other things like Cat Tail and Magic Beans), replacing the platitudinous acts of tree and crop nurturing. The mechanics are essentially what we’ve seen in the past: appoint based with a variety of plantable items ranging in maturation time. Players plant and then return after a certain time to harvest the plants for mana.

The game has a fun, magical feel to it in terms of both sound and visual effects. There are tons of items to choose from including large towers. But one strange aspect of the game is the unrealistic heights of some of the items like towers – small in scale compared to the avatar. Despite these certain short comings, the players should be able to create and customize their fantasy kingdom to their hearts delight. Items can be purchased with both in-game currency and Kingdom Cash, Fantasy Kingdom’s premium currency.

The user base of Fantasy Kingdom spiked just 2 days ago on May 26th, climbing from around 150,000 MAUs to nearly 260,000 MAUs. The game also seems to be cross promoted with other familiar titles such as Nightclub City which could explain the rapid jump in players. Sneaky Games may look to produce further titles once they figure out this space better. Their first title is Strife of Sevens is a friend-dueling RPG packed with adventure, but doesn’t seem to have much visibility and is showing around 300 MAUs.
