MediaPost reports that marketers and publishers are exploring how to use Twitter, the instant-updating, social-networking service, as they adapt to a changing media landscape.

Two recent examples: Make subscribers, readers and “Makezine” followers can now directly message Make at anytime using Twitter with questions, comments or suggestions. Meanwhile, the report said that interactive agency NetPlus Marketing on Monday announced a call for beta testers for its new platform, code-named “Platform T,” developed to engage customers Twitter.

“As a publication that is wholly devoted to the exchange of ideas and information, I think Make is a perfect fit for this sort of platform,” said Make Senior Editor Phil Torrone in the report.
