Federal officials on Wednesday arrested a man on suspicion of violating copyright laws, Reuters reports, for uploading unreleased Guns N’ Roses tracks to the Internet.

Kevin Cogill
, 27, who otherwise has no connection with Guns N’ Roses, posted nine tracks from the band’s eternally delayed, supposedly upcoming album “Chinese Democracy” on his Web site, according to Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Cogill admitted to uploading the songs, the FBI said in an affadavit. They were quickly taken down, but not before becoming widely distributed around the Internet.
