An add-on to Microsoft Outlook announced at the software giant’s Professional Developer Conference will allow LinkedIn users to integrate contact information with their Outlook contacts, TechCrunch reported.
Outlook users will be able to see pictures, professional information and other entries from the LinkedIn profiles of members of the professional networking site, and contact information between the two applications will be synchronized, according to TechCrunch.
In addition, messages can be sent directly to LinkedIn contacts from Outlook, and if contacts in Outlook change any contact information within LinkedIn, Outlook will automatically be updated, as well, TechCrunch reported.
