Middle East Revolution Gets Reenacted By Angry Birds [Video]

A new video reenacting the revolution in the Arab world has just hit YouTube and is rising the viral charts faster than you can say Gaddafi. The video parody likens Ben Ali, Mubarak and Gaddafi to the three little pigs and, instead of the Big Bad Wolf, the revolutionists are – you guessed it! – Angry Birds.

The video, called “Three Big Pigs” starts out with one pig, sporting Ben Ali’s glasses and haircut, singing the lyrics to Disney’s ‘Who’s Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf?’, “I built my house of straw! I built my house of hay! I took my flute; I don’t give a hoot; and I play around all day!” Mubarak built his house of sticks and twigs. The Angry Birds easily beat the Ben Ali and Mubarak “levels”, crushing the houses of both leaders. Gaddafi, on the other hand, built his house of stones and bricks. So, it took the Angry Birds a few tries to destroy his house.

The video was uploaded to YouTube less than 24-hours ago, and it is already taking off, spreading like wildfire. According to the view count, it has only been watched 472 times. But the video already has 1,780 likes, meaning that we should be seeing a boom in viewership any time now. YouTube tends to take a little while to catch up when the views first start taking off. I love the old-fashioned Looney Tunes style of the animation.
