MoFuse, a mobile blogging service that counts some 12,000 blogs among its current user base, has secured its first round of seed funding according to MediaPost.
MoFuse was founded one year ago in August 2007. It’s short for Mobile Fusion, and the idea behind it is to let anyone create a mobile Web site “in just a few minutes,” the report said. (No word on how long it actually takes.) The service can also convert an existing Web site into one that specifically formatted for handset viewing. MoFuse opened its service to the public in November of last year, after spending a few months in private beta.
The company said in a statement that the MoFuse Network, which includes Mashable, ReadWriteWeb, PoliticalWire, HarvardBusiness and Doc Searls, is now getting more than one million page views per month, according to the article.
