Have you ever tried to enter a URL, even one shortened by web services like TinyURL, is.gd, or bit.ly, on a phone that only has a numeric keypad? It is a nightmare of a task. The Mobile Tiny URL service creates a short URL that only uses the first alphabetic character associated with the first letter associated with the 2 through 9 keys on a phone keypad: a, d, g, j, m, p, t, & w. What a great idea!
