Television viewing in the US has reached an all-time high, with the average American watching more than 151 hours of TV per month, according to the fourth-quarter A2M2 Three Screen Report from Nielsen. And that’s just on the TV set. Interestingly, folks who watch video online spend about three hours per month doing so, about an hour less than consumers spend watching video on their mobile phone or other portable device.
The Q4 report found that some 11 million Americans watch mobile video, up 9% over Q3. Men tend to watch more mobile video than women do, and teens watch more video on their cell phones than any other age group.
