More from that IBM study we reported on yesterday: more consumers are now accessing mobile video, with 32 percent responding that they have viewed video on a portable device or a mobile phone. That’s up 45 percent from last year, as GigaOM reports.
Compared to regular PC online video, those numbers are still small. On desktop and laptop PCs, it turns out 76 percent of consumers have watched online video on them in the past year. There’s lower growth there—27 percent, compared to last year—but that’s because there’s already so much more adoption than on mobile devices.
