If Facebook was angered by Seppukoo, how will it respond to Web 2.0 Suicide Machine?

Seppukoo, from imaginary Italian art group Les Liens Invisibles, assists Facebook users in making their accounts disappear.

Web 2.0 Suicide Machine, from new-media lab Moddr, takes it to another level, erasing users’ existence on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, TechCrunch reports.

According to TechCrunch, Web 2.0 Suicide Machine removes Facebook friends one at a time, leaves groups and allows users to leave some parting words. As for Twitter, the app deletes all tweets and removes all followers and followed accounts.

Web 2.0 Suicide Machine runs a python script that launches a browser session automating the process, and it even allows users to watch their virtual suicides via a Flash app (see below), TechCrunch reported.

Try calling some friends, take a walk in a park or buy a bottle of wine and start enjoying your real life again. Some Social Suiciders reported that their lives improved by an approximate average of 25%. Don’t worry if you feel empty right after you committed suicide. This is a normal reaction that will slowly fade away within the first 24-72 hours.
