The Monocle Weekly Summer Series music and conversation program will debut Friday and run eight weeks. Stockholm-based jazz outfit The Quiet Nights Orchestra will perform live on the first installment.
The episode will also feature a conversation with Julia Peyton Jones, director of the Serpentine Gallery in London, and Alessandro Cajrati Crivelli, a property developer acclaimed for his work in creating Milan’s Zona Tortona district.
Monocle said Monocle Weekly Summer Series is “more relaxed and culture-focused than the current affairs-driven” regular radio show, The Monocle Weekly, which averaged more than 30,000 listeners each weekend since its launch in December.
Monocle Weekly Summer Series will be available for download via the Monocle site or iTunes every Friday afternoon.
