Another holiday is only weeks away, so you know what that means, right? That’s right, another release of Angry Birds is imminent. In a tweet Rovio said that a new version of Angry Birds seasons will be released for Easter, which I take to mean some time in the next week or two, and that the original and Rio versions of Angry Birds will see updates in May.
With ham being typically served for Easter, I expect to see the Easter update to Seasons to give the pigs an ever larger share of the limelight. While the Seasons version seems to be the most difficult version of Angry Birds so we don’t play it as much, my wife and I are really enjoying playing Rio on my Nexus One. We are on the 8th scene of the Jungle Escape level.
If you have an Android smartphone, you will find all three versions of Angry Birds for free in the Android Market. Each of the free versions are ad-supported. Android users who prefer ad-free versions of Angry Birds can buy them for $0.99 each in the Amazon Appstore.
