MSI Confirms Wind U150 Netbook with Touchscreen and Intel’s Next Atom
This 10-inch display netbook will be released with Windows 7. So, you can expect it by October 22 or later. Although I’m looking forward to getting some kind of touchscreen netbook, I don’t think it will be the U150. Why? It has a touchscreen but it is not a multi-touch touchscreen. And, quite frankly, Windows 7′s multi-touch capabilities is what makes it interesting in the emerging large screen (larger than a smartphone) touch devices. Asus, you might recall, said they will delay the launch of their T91A multi-touch touchscreen netbook. And, since the current T91 (not multi-touch) isn’t exactly flying off of the shelves (Amazon’s top 25 netbooks is one of my criteria), the T91A might not see the light of day for a while.
