MTV Full Episodes Arrive on Android

MTV Android App screenshotMTV recently released a new app for Android that lets cable subscribers watch all their favorite shows — like Teen Mom 2 and Teen Wolf.

The app allows MTV fans to access the network from their Android devices (iOS is already available) as long as they sign in first with their cable subscription information. After that pesky detail is taken care of the full episodes “unlock” for your viewing pleasure. MTV also added a number of viewing companion features, such as live quizzes and polls and Twitter integration that show tweets from “cast & crew.”

Those without a cable log-in can access some content through the app like trailers for upcoming shows but not the full episodes. Not all providers are available through the app yet, but you will find a number of the big ones, including Time Warner Cable, Verizon, Optimum, DirectTV and AT&T U-verse.

It launched in Google Play Dec. 20, and requires Android version 4.0 and later.
