Muck Rack Daily Promises 'Tomorrow’s Newspaper Today'

Much like CBS series Early Edition, which aired on the broadcast network from 1996-2000, Muck Rack Daily is aimed at bringing readers “tomorrow’s newspaper today.”

But while lead character Gary Hobson (portrayed by Kyle Chandler of Friday Night Lights fame) didn’t know why the next day’s newspaper was being delivered to his doorstep, Muck Rack Daily owner Sawhorse Media has a perfectly logical explanation: The site collects Tweets from journalists and mines information about stories they are working on.

From the About Muck Rack page:

What if you could get tomorrow’s newspaper today?

Now you sorta can, by tracking the short messages on Twitter written by the journalists who do the muckraking for major media outlets.

Muck Rack makes it easy to follow one-line, real-time reporting.

If you are a journalist on Twitter or know of anyone not yet included in Muck Rack, please let us know
