Hulu will help MySpace launch a new video service sometime over the next several months, but it is unclear whether its model will include downloads or subscription fees, CNET reported.
Rupert Murdoch, chairman of MySpace parent News Corp., has said he intends to overhaul MySpace Video by offering more feature films, TV shows and music videos, according to CNET. News Corp. also holds a stake in Hulu.
MySpace already streams some of Hulu’s TV shows and a small number of full-length movies, according to CNET.
