After a widely publicized flap, Apple has finally jettisoned all NBC video content from the iTunes Store.
Engadget reports that you can now head over to NBC Direct and download it there for free–except that it expires in 48 hours and doesn’t play on Macs.
NBC’s decision means that iTunes Store customers can no longer buy shows from any of the following networks: Bravo, mun2, NBC, NBC News, CNBC, NBC Sports, Sci Fi, Sleuth, Telemundo and the USA Network. We sure hope NBC knows what it’s doing. (Our early guess: it doesn’t.)
