NBC has plenty of mobile coverage in play for the Beijing Olympics. But EngadgetHD is reporting that the network is still beefing up its NBC Olympics on the Go Windows Vista Media Center application, which lets anyone with a desktop, laptop, Xbox 360, or compatible portable media center device watch Olympics coverage on the go and even schedule recordings.

The new version adds 64-bit Vista Media Center support. That doesn’t benefit mobile users so much as it does the enthusiast hard-core contingent on desktop PCs. But it shows just how far NBC is extending itself to get as much Olympics content as possible, into the hands of as many users as possible, across numerous platforms.
