Netflix Owns 61% Of US Digital Movie Market Share [Infographic]

Netflix is huge, but we had no idea just how huge it was until we saw this new infographic from GigaOMNetflix By The Numbers illustrates just how big Netflix has become, in terms of business, bandwidth, devices and catalog.

Did you know that Netflix has more subscribers than Comcast now?  And that’s not all.  The GigaOM infographic also points out the following surprising facts:

  • Netflix now accounts for 61 percent of all digital movie watching in the United States
  • Netflix is responsible for 30 percent of all North American residential downstream Internet traffic during peak times
  • Netflix is available through more than 450 devices
  • Netflix could spend as much as $1 billion on content in 2011
